Puerto Pizarro
The Puerto Pizarro mangroves are part of the Los Manglares de Tumbes National Sanctuary, the northernmost mangrove on the Peruvian coast. The boat rides travel through channels surrounded by vegetation, where you can spot birds such as herons and kingfishers, as well as the famous Tumbes crocodiles.
It is an essential ecotourism experience for understanding the natural wealth of the region.
